The articles are written and updated by the editors of give2sf.org. The site does not sell anything, does not collect donations and does not pass gifts on to anyone.
About this address
From 2011 this address was used by the City and County of San Francisco for its Give2SF giving portal, and for some years afterwards it only forwarded visitors elsewhere. The City now runs Give2SF on sf.gov. This site is new and independent: it has no connection to the City, its departments, the Give2SF program or any of the funds described here, and it does not reuse the old portal's text, images or seals.

Facts about the funds come from the City's public pages on sf.gov and from City news releases, which are linked where they are used. Advice on checking a charity follows the consumer guidance of the Federal Trade Commission.
